The Film Itself (5/5): This film is one of those rare experiences that will have you questioning everything as it progresses onward. I went into this film completely blind as to what was going on, and the overall experience was really something. The story line for this movie does a fantastic job at grabbing your attention with some serious surrealistic elements that make you question the reality of what's happening with the characters. The story not only does an excellent job at grabbing your attention, but it also does an impeccable job at keeping you hooked until the very end of the movie. Picture Quality (4. 5/5): This film is presented in 1080p and does a really nice job at maintaining the original feel that the filmmakers had intended for this movie. The story goes from a more straightforward presentation, to a very surreal experience as it progresses onward. Unfortunately, my personal favorite scenes of the movie was that of the dream sequences; and I wish that those scenes were done with a little more care into their visual presentation. The one thing that I really liked about this release is that they gave us the option to change the aspect ratio for this film to either 1.85:1 or 2.35:1; I personally went with the 1.85:1 setting and felt right at home. Audio Quality (4/5): The Blu-ray release of this film comes bundled with a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. For the most part, I felt that this audio track was clean and clear and offered a really nice immersive experience for those who are able to make use of the technology behind it. However, despite my personal feelings and overall preference, I feel that the 5.1 audio track was way overkill for this movie as it really didn't offer the kind of immersion that one would expect out of a Blu-ray release. That being said, I will say that the surround channels did do a really nice at expanding the environment for this film in terms of directionality. The Packaging (3.5/5): The Blu-ray release of Twilight Eclipse comes packaged in your standard two-disc Blu-ray amaray case. Within that case is the standard Blu-ray copy of the film as well as the standard DVD copy. There are no DVD copies included here with this release; however, there is a digital copy redemption pamphlet that has been included for future access to streaming or downloading via a redemption code. cfa1e77820
